First Meeting

"You know.." Dominic said with a long following pause, "It's you." He said, immediately turning crimson. He looked at her and gave her a slightly nervous smile.

Blair semi-blushed. Getting flustered wasn't exactly her thing. She just wasn't used to moments that could be considered 'sweet'. She then laughed, "Don't you have somewhere to be, Mr. Christian?" She asked, knowing he had work.

Nikki nearly dropped the dish she had been holding, and her cheeks turned red. It was her? No, there was no way that he could mean that... could there be? Nikki swallowed, and slowly turned towards Dominic to check his sincerity. He was blushing and looking directly at her, which caused Nikki to redden even more.

"Me? Are you sure?" She asked quietly, her heart starting to pound dangerously in her chest.


"Trying to get rid of me, Blair?" Kyle said, but he checked his watch. His job would be starting in a few minutes. "Yeah, I do. Gotta make some money to pay my bills. Have a nice day, Dragon girl." He said, getting up out of his seat to head to the store, but not before shooting her a wink.

Dominic's face wasn't even red anymore as it was just really pale. He swallowed and then nodded, "Yes. It's you." He said with a laugh, "I thought it was quite obvious...with the way I act around you." He smiled and scratched the back of his neck.

Blair blew Kyle a kiss, "So long, kitty cat."
The worker behind the counter gave the two a strange look, "What peculiar names for a couple to give each other." He said to Blair after Kyle left.
"Couple?" Blair said, as if the boy was crazy, "We're friends, bro."

"Oh... i'm not very good at picking those sort of things up..." Nikki whispered. He was serious, he had to be. As she thought, she then realized that being in that situation just after confessing to someone was very nerve wracking.

"I... I think that I may... uhm..... like you... as well." She whispered, looking at the floor as her cheeks burned.

Kyle headed off to his job, oblivious to the employee's comment.

Dominic suddenly had a huge smile on his face, those his cheeks were still flushed, "You really do?" He asked.

"I.... I... maybe..." Nikki muttered, pulling her sweatshirt closer to her body. Suddenly she felt extremely self-concious, which usually happened when she was faced with romantic situations.

"Well..." Dominic began, feeling a lot less timid and nervous, "That makes me very happy to hear that."

"Really?" Nikki said, shifting on her feet. She didn't know what would happen next. "S-so... uhm.."
